Welcome to the Canterbury Tennis Club We are happy to inform our members that the resurfacing of the bottom courts to Policlay were completed at the start of October 2009. The courts have now settled and are playing great. Members can now enjoy the use of four brand new synthetic courts, all with floodlights, which never need watering and only the occassional bagging. Canterbury Tennis Club is situated next to Canterbury Sports Ground in Croydon Rd Surrey Hills, just near Chatham railway station. It was originally known as East Boroondara Tennis Club and was officially opened in 1896. We are a club catering for the needs of the community providing tennis facilities to members of all ages. We have approximately 300 members ranging from pre-school to our oldest active member who is in her 80s. |
